Petition to remove Ye (Kanye West) from the Coachella lineup grows in signatures each day

Kanye was supposed to perform on the 3rd day of Coachella but because of the petition numbers rising each day, his appearance at Coachella is unclear. And as of March 21, 2022, there are now over 26,000 signatures. Various celebrities like Billie Eilish, Ye and many more have been invited to perform at the annual music festival, Coachella. But people have made a petition to remove Ye from the show after his viral outburst on Billie Eilish. The singer, songwriter Billie Eilish said during her concert ‘I wait for the people to be okay before I keep going.’ whereas Ye, though it was in relation to the AstroWorld fiasco where several people died in a Travis Scott concert. 

Kanye then publicly commented about the statement through an Instagram post and said ‘Come on Billie we live you please apologize to Trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives no one intended this to happen Trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened.’ then added, ‘Trav will be with me at Coachella but now I need Billie to apologize before I perform’

Billie then commented on Ye’s post by saying ‘literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan.’ And relatives of the AstroWorld victims weren’t thrilled either since Bernin Blount commented against Ye by saying ‘To hear Kanye’s words, that’s hurtful to us. What an idiotic thing to say.’ Blount was one of the relatives who mourned over the loss of their loved ones, where she lost her nine-year-old grandson Ezra Blount after being injured at the AstroWorld concert. 

And what added to the flame that sparked a petition to remove him from the show was his public rants, threats and malicious posts on Instagram regarding him, his estranged ex-wife (Kim Kardashian), Kim’s new boyfriend (Pete Davidson) and other people that commented on the issue against him. Various names, faces and even addresses were dropped on Ye’s post that concerned various individuals. This behaviour pushed people to start a petition to remove him from the lineup.

Ariana Grande and Bretman Rock post support for Philippine presidential candidate Leni Robredo.

Instagram posts by American pop star Ariana Grande and Filipino-American social media influencer Bretman Rock, surfaced on the net when they supported the Philippine presidential candidate Leni Robredo by sharing and talking about her and her recent rally that was held at Pasig City, Philippines on March 20, 2022. 

Grande posted two stories of Robredo’s rally where over 137,000 people sang one of Ariana’s hit songs, Break Free. This caught the singer’s attention and was ‘touched’ by the number of people. ‘I COULD NOT BELIEVE THIS WAS REAL’ then added ‘i love you more than words.’ 

Bretman Rock also took to Instagram and shared how inspired he is by Robredo and how he supports her amongst other candidates. ‘This statement shookt me to the core… My president is a WOMAN.’ Bretman stated along with a linked post of Robtedo’s speech. Then added ‘The best man for the job is a woman.’ This made hot number 1 trends all over Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are expecting to welcome another angel!

Over seven years together, actor and actress Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are now expecting to welcome their second child. They welcomed their first child, Willa, two years ago and around February 2022, rumours of her having a second child surfaced. This was because of speculation of her having a ‘baby bump’ while out with her husband Joe Jonas.

But in March, a source confirmed that the couple was expecting. ‘Sophie and Joe were overjoyed to learn they are expecting a second child’ says the source. Then added, ‘The couple recently celebrated Sophie’s birthday, as well as the pregnancy.’

But up to this day, the couple hasn’t released any photos of their first child Willa and haven’t commented on the current speculations of them having a second child.

Kanye West was removed from performing at the Grammys

Ye has taken it to Instagram through a post that he is no longer performing at the Grammys. The American rapper was said to be removed because of bad behaviour he has been showing through Instagram. Ye posted various threats, insults and so much more about his estranged ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her current boyfriend, Pete Davidson. He also posts about other celebrities who comment on his behaviour.

Because of how ‘out of control,’ his posts have been which also broke community guidelines, the social media platform then blocked the rapper from posting on his account. How he publicly handles his divorce with reality star Kim Kardashian has made headlines for weeks and because of this, his name is tainted. Results as to why he was pulled from performing at the Grammys.

HBO GO holds over 30 Batman movies and series!

In support of the launch of the new movie The Batman, the streaming platform HBO GO will be streaming over 30 Batman movies and series. All the movies and series will be accessible until March 13th and will feature Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021), Batman versus Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition (2016), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), The Dark Knight (2008), and Batman Begins (2005). HBO GO may be subscribed to online or via the App Store or Play Store.

Metro Goldwyn Mayer now owned by Amazon?

Amazon.com an online shopping platform has recently closed a deal over US$8.5 billion in acquiring the film studio Metro Goldwyn Mayer or in other terms MGM. This has been the biggest takeover the company has faced in five years after taking over Whole Foods back in 2017.

The deal, which was disclosed on the company’s website on Thursday, is the latest by a U.S. technology titan to get permission amid concerns that the giants have been allowed to eat up smaller businesses with little resistance from competition regulators.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s son Wolf has now undergone a name change!

Kylie Jenner and American rapper Travis Scott welcomed their second kid into the world four years after her first child, Stormi Webster, was born. During her pregnancy, the reality star shared that their son’s name was going to be ‘Wolf’. But took it to Instagram on March 22, 2022, through an Instagram story that her son was no longer called ‘Wolf’ since she started to notice various individuals and sites referring to her newborn baby as ‘Wolf’. She wrote ‘FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.’ And with that, no more sources or announcements have been made as to what her son’s name was going to be. 

But she did share various posts both photos and videos, about her pregnancy journey. These include her hardships and also the many joys she’s experienced through the process. Now she’s inspiring moms around the world as she updates them about how she conquers the trials of being a mom.  

The Batman still number 1 in its third week!

In its third week, The Batman still remains number one on the charts for box office and is the highest-grossing movie for 2022. This also makes a striking second place since the pandemic.

Directed by Matt Reeves, this picked up a whopping US$49.1 million internationally during the weekend which totals a dazzling US$598.2 million. The production of The Batman is reported to have cost $200 million, not including the millions spent on marketing. But it’s already a success for Warner Bros., which suffered a box office loss in 2021 due to the simultaneous release of all of its films in cinemas and on HBO Max.

Plus that there hasn’t been much competition on the market apart from the anime ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ which was published by Crunchyroll and Funimation and grossed an estimated $17.7 million in its debut weekend in North America on 2,748 screens, was the greatest rival this weekend.
